A few hours out to the lake Kerkini in Greece turned out to be quite productive. My girlfiend and I went out for a couple of hours to enjoy the lovely weather. This Black Stork was one of the highlights. It was rather close and fairly tame. It has a metal ring on one of its legs but has no number on it.
Some of the other birds we photographed are Dalmatian Pelicans, Great-crested Greebe, Pygmy and Great Cormorant, Kingfisher and Black-headed Gull. Pelicans are already getting their red bills and become lovely photography objects.
