The second day of the BirdID trip is across lovely open landscapes suitable for birds of prey. This lovely pale Booted Eagle circled about 30 m right above a village on our way to the Eastern Rhodope mountains.

Once we arrived in the Eastern Rhodopes, Vultures started showing up. Here is the last stronghold of the vultures in the country.
